cast iron bath tubs

Our Iso-Enamel baths offer traditional bathing without the drawbacks

Cast iron bath tubs have always been the only real option for those wanting to create an authentic traditional bathroom look. However, cast iron baths have many drawbacks, including excessive weight, heat loss and a surface that is prone to scratching and chipping.

When Albion began manufacturing freestanding roll top baths back in 1993, they had one goal, to overcome the disadvantages of cast iron tubs. After much research and development, Albion created their unique Iso-Enamel material - a material that gives the strength and rigidity of a cast iron bath without any of its associated drawbacks.

Albion’s freestanding roll top baths are approximately a third of the weight compared to an equivalent sized cast iron bath and also insulate the water for longer too, ensuring there is no need to keep ‘topping’ up with more hot water.
