Close Coupled Toilets
Close Coupled Toilets are the mainstay of the toilet world. With the cistern connected directly to the back of the toilet pan, Close Coupled toilets are generally shorter and more compact than the other options.
The history of this format is relatively new as this design appeared in the 1930’s. It was part of a move toward more industrialised style in the home. Where Low Level toilets were the norm, this version dispensed with the visible flush pipe to create a sleeker, simpler look.
