Our authentically traditional Mistley high and low level toilets are prefect for the classical bathroom. To be honest, we cheated with this design. The cistern was directly styled from an original cast iron cistern made by a foundry in nearby Colchester. To get to the regulation 5 litre flush, we needed to make some changes. Consequently, by using modern internal components, our Mistley high and low level toilets retain authentic styling of the period yet perform with contemporary reliability. Times move on and as a result, we decided that cast iron wasn’t the best option for the cistern. Naturally, corrosion was an issue so we made new moulds to make the cistern in aluminium. The cistern is coated internally with a special polyurethane lining that’s normally used in the painting of super yacht hulls. Position the cistern at a height you want as the installer can cut the chrome flush pipe to length by the installer. The high-level version can be set to a maximum of 2200mm. But wherever positioned, the Mistley toilets will give a strong, powerful flush. To customise your toilet, the cistern can be finished in a colour of your choice. Consequently, choose from any Farrow & Ball, Dulux or Little Greene colour. Alternatively, choose from one of our three metallic burnished options of iron, bronze or gold. All of our sanitary ware is made from finest Italian chinaware and the Mistley pan is no exception. It’s solid construction and lustrous glaze will stand the test of time and is resistant to modern cleaning chemicals. Of course, a toilet seat is a must and we offer three finishes  – gloss white, gloss black and walnut. Choose from these to suit your design ideals.
